Privacy Policy

The short version
NewPrompt is designed to keep prompt processing inside your browser. We do not require an account, and the tools are built so your prompt content is not uploaded to NewPrompt servers. If you choose to send feedback, the information you provide is submitted to NewPrompt so we can review and respond to it.
We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand site usage, performance, indexing, and technical issues. Analytics cookies are used only if you choose to allow them.
Prompt data and browser-side processing
All NewPrompt tools run locally in your browser using JavaScript. The prompts you write, configure, and generate are processed entirely on your device and are made available for copy or download from your browser.
NewPrompt does not intentionally transmit, store, inspect, or share the prompt content you create. Closing the browser tab or navigating away clears the in-memory working state controlled by the page.
Information we may collect
NewPrompt may process limited technical information needed to operate and improve the site:
- Google Analytics: if accepted, Google Analytics may collect usage data such as page views, approximate location, device type, browser information, referral source, and interaction events.
- Google Search Console: we use Search Console reports to monitor search performance, indexing status, crawl errors, and search queries that lead users to NewPrompt.
- Server and security logs: hosting infrastructure may record basic request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and error details for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and operational reliability.
- Feedback submissions: if you use the feedback form, we may collect the message you send, optional name and email address, the page URL, browser user agent, IP address, and submission timestamp.
We do not provide user accounts, newsletters, payment flows, or checkout forms. Feedback submissions are optional and should not include API keys, passwords, secrets, or other sensitive information.
Cookies and analytics choices
Essential browser storage may be used to remember your cookie choice and keep the site working correctly. Google Analytics cookies are optional and are not loaded until you allow analytics cookies through the cookie banner.
You can change your analytics choice at any time from the Cookie Policy page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Data controller and legal basis
NewPrompt is responsible for the limited data processing described in this policy. Where applicable, we process technical, security, and analytics data based on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the site. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after your consent.
Third-party services
NewPrompt currently uses the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics for aggregated usage measurement and site improvement.
- Google Search Console for search visibility, indexing, and technical SEO monitoring.
- Email delivery services to forward feedback submissions to the site operator when feedback email delivery is enabled.
We do not currently use advertising networks, payment providers, user account providers, or third-party prompt processing services.
International transfers
Google Analytics and related Google services may process data on servers outside your country or region. Google is responsible for applying its own transfer safeguards and service terms for those services. You can avoid optional analytics processing by declining analytics cookies.
Data retention
Prompt content processed by the tools is not stored by NewPrompt. Feedback submissions may be stored for support, abuse prevention, debugging, and product improvement. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics. Server and security logs may be retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and operational needs.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data. Because NewPrompt does not require accounts, we may not be able to identify your individual analytics records unless you provide enough information for us to reasonably locate them. If you submit feedback, the information you provide may be stored and used to improve NewPrompt and respond to support requests.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can review it. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority or supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, analytics setup, or applicable practices change. The latest update date will be shown at the top of this page.
