Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Overview

NewPrompt is a project execution platform for building projects with AI. It is organized into public layers — Projects, Workflows, Resources, Tools, and the Project Advisor — that you can browse and use without an account. This policy explains what information NewPrompt does and does not collect across those layers, how analytics and feedback are handled, and how privacy will work as the upcoming Workspace member layer is introduced.

We keep data collection deliberately limited. The public layers are designed to be used without signing in, and the content you create with the Tools is processed in your browser rather than sent to our servers to produce its output. Where information is collected — for analytics, security, or feedback — it is described below.

The platform and your content

The platform's layers handle your information differently. The summary below reflects how the product works today.

  • Projects, Workflows, and Resources: published, read-only content that NewPrompt provides. Browsing them does not require an account or ask you to submit personal information. The standard server and analytics processing described below still applies.
  • Project Advisor: a deterministic feature. You describe a goal, and that goal is sent to our server to look up the matching project and its ordered execution path. The Project Advisor does not run an AI model, does not require an account, and is not used to build a personal profile. Goal text is processed to return your result and may appear in standard server logs as part of the request.
  • Tools: these run in your browser. The text you type, configure, and generate with them is processed locally to produce the output, which is made available for you to copy or download. This content is not sent to our servers to produce that output, and closing or navigating away from a tool clears its in-memory working state.
  • Functional storage on your device: some features store small amounts of information locally in your browser — such as your cookie choice and interface preferences. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to NewPrompt, and can be cleared through your browser settings.

Information we collect

NewPrompt processes limited information needed to operate, secure, measure, and improve the platform:

  • Google Analytics: if accepted, Google Analytics may collect usage data such as page views, approximate location, device type, browser information, referral source, and interaction events.
  • Internal usage counts: NewPrompt may keep aggregate, non-identifying counts of how the site is used, such as page views and tool views. These internal counts do not identify visitors and do not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, cookies, session identifiers, search queries, advisor goals, tool inputs, tool outputs, or prompt content.
  • Google Search Console: we use Search Console reports to monitor search performance, indexing status, crawl errors, and the search queries that lead users to NewPrompt.
  • Server and security logs: hosting infrastructure may record basic request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL (which can include a goal you submit to the Project Advisor), timestamp, and error details for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and operational reliability.
  • Feedback submissions: if you use the feedback form, we may collect the message you send, optional name and email address, the page URL, browser user agent, IP address, and submission timestamp.

Using the public layers — Projects, Workflows, Resources, the Project Advisor, and the Tools — does not require an account. Feedback submissions are optional and should not include API keys, passwords, secrets, or other sensitive information.

Cookies, analytics, and local storage

NewPrompt uses a small amount of cookies and browser storage: essential storage to remember your cookie choice, optional Google Analytics cookies that load only with your consent, and a small amount of functional storage kept on your device for interface preferences.

Separately, NewPrompt's internal aggregate usage counts (non-identifying page and tool counters) do not set cookies and do not use browser storage; they are independent of the optional Google Analytics cookies above.

You can change your analytics choice at any time from the Cookie Policy page, and you can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

Data controller and legal basis

NewPrompt is responsible for the limited data processing described in this policy. Where applicable, we process technical, security, and analytics data based on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the platform. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only after your consent.

Third-party services

NewPrompt currently uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics for aggregated usage measurement and product improvement.
  • Google Search Console for search visibility, indexing, and technical SEO monitoring.
  • Email delivery services to forward feedback submissions to the site operator when feedback email delivery is enabled.

We do not currently use advertising networks, payment providers, account providers, or third-party services that process the content you create with the Tools. This list will change as the Workspace member layer is introduced (see below).

International transfers

Google Analytics and related Google services may process data on servers outside your country or region. Google is responsible for applying its own transfer safeguards and service terms for those services. You can avoid optional analytics processing by declining analytics cookies.

Data retention

Content you create with the Tools is processed in your browser and is not stored on NewPrompt servers. Goals submitted to the Project Advisor are processed to return a result and may appear in standard server logs retained for a limited period. Feedback submissions may be stored for support, abuse prevention, debugging, and product improvement. Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured in Google Analytics. Server and security logs may be retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and operational needs.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data. Because the public layers do not require an account, we may not be able to identify your individual analytics records unless you provide enough information for us to reasonably locate them. If you submit feedback, the information you provide may be stored and used to improve NewPrompt and respond to support requests.

Workspace and future member features

NewPrompt is developing Workspace, a member layer that will let you save outputs, track project progress, keep notes, and continue projects over time. Workspace is not yet available and is separate from the public layers described above.

When Workspace launches it will be account-based: information you choose to save will be stored under your account and kept under your control, including the ability to export or delete it. Workspace may also introduce additional service providers, such as authentication or — if paid plans are offered — payment processing. This policy will be updated to describe Workspace data handling before those features become available.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can review it. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority or supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the platform, analytics setup, or applicable practices change — and, in particular, before Workspace member features are released. The latest update date will be shown at the top of this page.
